LT1 Lamp & Ballast Tester – Test a variety of UV Lamps, other gas-discharging lamps and ballasts
The electronic lamp tester LT1 is a testing instrument for UV Lamps and other gas-discharging lamps including:
- Mercury Low Pressure Lamps
- High Power Amalgam Lamps
- Mercury Medium Pressure Lamps
- High Pressure Sodium Lamps
- Florescent Lamps
- Neon Lamps
- Metal Halogen Lamps
- Low Pressure Sodium Lamps
By touching the lamp contacts with the test tip, the gas inside the lamp becomes ionized and the lamp starts to illuminate.
The lamp tester can also perform voltage and continuity checks on ballasts, starters or capacitors.
This tool is ideal in situations where a lamp or ballast needs to be checked during fault diagnostic exercises. It can also be used to check that a new UV Lamp is working prior to attending site for annual UV Lamp replacement servicing.
LT2 – Lamp Tester – Test a variety of UV Lamps and other gas-discharging lamps
The LT2 Lamp Tester is a simple instrument that allows you to identify faulty UV Lamps or other neon lights. It is used by simply touching the extendable antenna to the polarity wires or pins on a neon light. If the lamp is in working order, the UV light will flash.
This simple tool is ideal in situations where a lamp needs to be checked during fault diagnostic exercises. It can also be used to check that a new UV Lamp is working prior to attending site for annual UV Lamp replacement servicing.
Radiation generated by some lamps is dangerous. Ensure appropriate PPE is worn when testing these lamps. If testing UV-C Lamps, consider UV-Guard’s UVC 254nm PPE here.
