UV Guard disinfection systems are ideally suited to help mining operators comply with safe drinking water regulations and other environmental commitments.
UV Disinfection Solutions for the Mining Industry
Cost-effective and easily scalable, UV disinfection systems offer an excellent solution for use in remote mining locations. They can form an important part of the water treatment and storage processes required to ensure safe drinking and camp water.
Many common mining processes such as grinding, separating and dust suppression also require water sourced from municipal wastewater or deep groundwater – as does machinery washing. This water needs to be carefully managed and treated afterwards to avoid any contamination of nearby water sources and environmentally-sensitive habitats.
Coca Cola – Sugar syrup (liquid sugar) UV treatment
Coca Cola is a major manufacturer of beverages including soft drinks, bottled water, sports drinks and fruit juices. Coca Cola in Richlands Queensland was installing a new production line which required Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection for the sugar syrup application. The UV system on the existing production line also required an upgrade.

Our customer Veolia was approached to build the project.
